A Story of Impact and Growth

In communities across the central region of Uganda, transformation is taking root.

27 demonstration sites have been established, serving as living classrooms where practical learning and community engagement thrive.

To support energy conservation, sustainable cooking, and improved nutrition, 20 brick ovens have been constructed, benefiting numerous villages. These ovens not only provide healthier meals but also symbolize resilience and self-reliance.

The heart of the program lies in its people. 1,877 caregivers have been trained and, equipped with vital skills to improve child health and nutrition. Alongside them, 149 peers have been empowered to share knowledge, ensuring that wisdom spreads far beyond the initial training.

The impact is visible in the smiles of 279 children who received supplementary feeding, giving them the nourishment they need to grow strong and healthy. Education has also been strengthened. 43 teachers were trained to lead Income Generating Projects (IGP), while 9 schools received capital to launch sustainable initiatives. As a result, 46 teachers directly benefited from IGP programs, creating ripple effects of empowerment.

Beyond the demonstration sites, 534 participants gained skills to run income-generating activities, and 438 individuals are now benefiting from these projects, enhancing livelihoods, strengthening families, and building resilient communities. Each project resulted in a story of resilience, a child's smile, a teacher's hope, and a community's strength.  Together, we are not just counting numbers — we are changing lives.
